My name is Steve Rich I am a drummer percussionist.

Having been playing professionally now for well over 45 years. Both as a drummer and a bandleader in my own right all over the world. I have worked in theatre , clubs  , dance halls and cruise ships also music festivals around the uk .  I have toured and backed many well known light entertainment artistes as well as name Jazz soloists over the years. I held the job of bandleader at a well known Cabaret venue for 14 years . Providing the  backing  for many top name international artistes. My main genre of music is Jazz but I am adept at playing most styles of music as required.

My most recent venture has been  to co-found  the much acclaimed band The Indigo Kings with which I have recorded two  Albums of totally original material , with a third due to be  recorded in Nov 2018  . Also doing many radio broadcasts as well as gigs and festivals  over the  nine years since the bands original conception   .
